We are working though a few issues in our system at this moment. I'm sure that is why you are seeing those errors.

Once we have these internal issues resolved, you should be able to simply re-update your HyperGate with your current Updater and things should work fine.

We will make an announcement once we have resolved these current network issues.

How to import the HyperGate archive?

Hello Damean,


The HyperGate archive file that you downloaded is in IAR format.


You can find information on how to import IAR files from the following links:

The process is fairly simple:
  • Download the IAR file and save it somewhere convenient (such as the root of a drive). You'll need to enter its file-path later.
  • The user that you are uploading the inventory to must be logged in.
  • Enter the command: 
    load iar <first> <last> <inventory path> password <archive path>

    Keep in mind that you will need access to your the console of your region to perform an IAR import.

    Alternatively, you can find one of our Hypergates in-world and simply select it and Take Copy. Most of our HyperGates are full-perm, full-copy.

    Hypergate Error

    Hello,


    The errors that you were seeing were a result of several infrastructure changes that we have made over the past two weeks.


    All of these errors should be resolved now, and the HyperGate Network is fully functional again.

    Please re-update your HyperGate using your Updater and then give your Hypergate another try.



    Let us know if your errors are not resolved by your Update.

    Clicking on HyperGrid Jump link launches the wrong viewer

    This issue is actually not at all related to your OpenSim configuration. It is caused by the wrong viewer being configured as the default viewer in your browser settings or in your operating system (i.e. Win XP, MacOS, Linux, etc..). This causes the wrong viewer to be launched when HyperGrid Jump links and "secondlife://"  links are clicked.
