Are you able to HyperGrid to your region from a different grid?

I am having the same problem, consistently.  I have no problems hypergriding out or in, but I can never get my gate or grid to register using the website.

Have you verified your HyperGrid connectivity on the Network by performing the following procedure:

Step 2: Verify Your HyperGrid Connectivity
Simply rez your new HyperGate, then use the avatar that rezzed the gate it to jump to a second HyperGate,then use that second HyperGate to jump to any other location. It is important to use a HyperGate that is already registered on the HyperGate Network. This allows the Network to verify that your region is correctly configured for receiving incoming HyperGrid visitors.

Been there, done that.  Jumped to OSGrid, then to Craft-World.  Then used my map to type in my home grid url and teleport home.

I'am having same problems,i have jump from my gate at CybersVision1 to Night Life City and few others. I think my problem is what to put there on the register page. What they ask for grid and region,what would my 4 sims be called?I thought a grid. I'am about half way between Osgrid/opensim,do i put one of these down. My place is at 7000,7000 range and what hypergate version.Bellona or Veritas, first i see them.. Please help..

On the registration form, the most important fields are: Login URI, Grid Name, Name of the avatar, and email address.

Your HyperGate should auto register if you have executed the following steps correctly:

If your grid is currently listed, but you do not have any HyperGates listed yet, then all you need to do is "Verify your HyperGrid Connectivity" by following the "Step 2"procedure below.

If your grid is NOT listed on the web site, then you should both "Register your Grid" and "Verify your HyperGrid Connectivity".

Step 1: Register your Grid
Submit the following registration form:Register HyperGate
(Please note: For fully-automatic grid registration, configure your LoginURI or HyperGrid port to be one of the following ports: 8002, 9000, 9001, 9002, 9003, 9004, 9005, 9006, 80, 88, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 89.)

Step 2: Verify Your HyperGrid Connectivity
