Clicking on HyperGrid Jump link launches the wrong viewer

Ru Rollin Yet vor 14 Jahren aktualisiert von TheHyperGates vor 14 Jahren 0

I have been trying for more than a week to understand the HyperGrid and how to jump between worlds, and that is not going well at all.  I almost always find jumps don't work for me, even using the links on your seemingly excellent web site.  One problem I have is, when I click directly on your link, Internet Explorer 9, or your web site, attempts to launch Phoenix Viewer.  But I am already logged in in Imprudence and Phoenix simply launches my SL avatar in SL.  I have looked and looked for a way to stop this auto-launch of Phoenix to no avail.

This issue is actually not at all related to your OpenSim configuration. It is caused by the wrong viewer being configured as the default viewer in your browser settings or in your operating system (i.e. Win XP, MacOS, Linux, etc..). This causes the wrong viewer to be launched when HyperGrid Jump links and "secondlife://"  links are clicked.
